Tunisia Welcomes Triumphant Mellouli |

 (TAP, La Presse) Tunisian National Olympic Committee Chairman Abdelhamid Slama, Sports Minister Abdallah Kaabi and a crowd of excited fans gathered Wednesday (April 4th) in Tunis to welcome triumphant world swimming champion Oussama Mellouli. Mellouli won a gold medal in the 800-metre freestyle and a silver medal in the 400-metre freestyle at the world swimming championship in Melbourne last week. He is the first Tunisian to score such success in the sport. Mellouli greeted his supporters warmly, adding his success came as the result of hard work and much sacrifice.
