 Today, October 3, 2005, a day prior to the start of the Holy month of Ramadhan, the world witnessed a rare event: a solar eclipse that occurs when the moon is "New Moon" or "Invisible Moon". At that moment, the moon comes in front of the sun as seen from earth. This moon is totally invisible, because the moon does not have any light. This moon is not "Hilal" and cannot be seen from anywhere in the world.
This is indeed a special Ramadhan! Ramadhan Kareem to all.
