Small film about ghetto adversity wins France's top movie prize |

 A small, low-budget film about disaffected urban youth won France's top movie award in a Paris ceremony, just one day before Hollywood was to bestow Oscar glory on its line-up of expensive mega-productions. "L'Esquive," whose title means to duck, stormed the Cesar awards, also earning its Tunisian-born director, Abdellatif Kechiche, a prize for his helming and another for an 18-year-old actress in its cast, Sara Forestier, as best upcoming female performer.
