A small, low-budget film about disaffected urban youth won France's top movie award in a Paris ceremony, just one day before Hollywood was to bestow Oscar glory on its line-up of expensive mega-productions. "L'Esquive," whose title means to duck, stormed the Cesar awards, also earning its Tunisian-born director, Abdellatif Kechiche, a prize for his helming and another for an 18-year-old actress in its cast, Sara Forestier, as best upcoming female performer. Photo shows Tunisian born director Abdellatif Kechiche reacting after he received the Best Director Award during the 30th Nuit des Cesar, France's top movie awards at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris.
